I purchased this tree from Ed Clark in January 2022. Ed had been growing this juniper from the ground for over 16+ years, and he believes it’s from his first batch of junipers. I didn’t hesitate to buy this tree because of its incredible movement and the nice budding in the lower section.
To provide some context on why I bought the tree, I had a vision in my mind of what I wanted it to look like in the future, and that’s what I had in mind at the time.

I allowed the tree to grow for a year, and this is how it looks now. I’m focusing on developing the main trunk where I want the tree to grow, and next year, I plan to repot it to reduce its roots. This will set it on the path to eventually go into a smaller pot in the future.
