I bought this amazing tree from Bert, who’s been doing bonsai for over 15 years. It’s his 2nd oldest tree, and he decided to sell it because he’s retiring and returning to his home country. I was lucky to be there when he sold it. I promised him that I’d make sure this tree gets showcased someday.
Compare to Sweetgum #1, this tree was repotted after I bought it because the roots is already root bound and needs repot.

The tree is defoliated and respond really well. Below show what it looking after a few weeks of defoliation you can see the bud/foliage already showing.
